We Are Sheffield Wednesday

The club came to us with a vision for a powerful new promo video that would tap into their rich history.  It also included working with a real life owl as part of a location shoot at Hillsborough which was certainly a break from the norm.

“We Are Sheffield Wednesday” was showcased on the in-stadium giant LED screens on February 10th, and released concurretnly on Facebook and YouTube to tremendous reception: less a week after launch it’s received over 42,000 YouTube views and some great responses from fans: https://youtu.be/GdvdXAmPFjE, whilst the Facebook video has been liked by over 1,800 fans and shared over 1,000 times.

We’re very happy with it, it has gone down a storm with the fans.

When I described the owl concept to Tom and Peter, I never thought they’d be able to pull it off, but it has turned out exactly as I hoped. So I was very impressed. You only have to look at the comments about the video to see what effect is has had on people and as a result how well it’s been executed. Well done guys.
