ADI provided LED screens to Communications Agency Posterscope as part of their activation of adidas's sponsorship of The London Marathon.

Adidas are a longstanding official partner of The Flora London Marathon; their sponsorship of the event runs deep, with an official adidas Flora London Marathon range of apparel and accessories available and significant investment in promotion of their partnership.

ADI were contracted to provide a total of four iCONIC mobile LED screens which were positioned around the 6 ½ mile mark of the world's most famous marathon, alongside one of the world's most famous ships, The Cutty Sark.

ADI's screens formed part of a promotional and motivational scheme from adidas, which sent inspirational messages to runners as they went past the screens. Individual messages had been sent to adidas prior to the race and as the runner approached the screens, the chip on their shoe as picked up by sensors, triggering their name and message to appear on screen. The screens also carried adidas branding between messages.

ADI's fourth screen – the innovative double-sided iCONIC 15 – was used purely as a promotional medium, and ran a looped programme of graphics and logos throughout the day, further enforcing adidas's branding and sponsorship.

ADI's iCONIC screens were perfect for the event, both because of their small footprints and quick setup times. This meant they were able to arrive early on the morning of the event and could quickly be manoeuvred into place and be up and running within the hour.
