Each year, Liverpool plays host to one of the world's largest street festivals as the Mathew Street Festival takes over the city centre, and ADI helped to ensure the huge crowds were entertained a full solution including with four iCONIC screens and outside broadcast facilities and crews.

The Mathew Street Festival is a free event, taking place each year over the August Bank Holiday weekend.  The city is famed for creating some of the world's biggest bands (anyone heard of The Beatles...?) and the Festival is a celebration of this musical culture as crowds of over 300,000 descend on the famous Merseyside city.

ADI supplied 4 screens from the urban iCONIC range (an iCONIC 25 and three iCONIC 12s).  As well as providing additional entertainment, they were also a valuable safety tool for the Council, allowing those that were further back from the stages to see the bands clearly, helping to reduce crowd crushing.

ADI also provided outside broadcast facilities and crews for each screen, enabling them to film and mix live content of each act.  Between bands, the screens played out graphical and video content promoting local council events and initiatives as well as advertisements for the event sponsor, the new Beatles Rock Band video game.

With tight city streets to contend with, ADI supplied screens As well as being incredibly manoeuvrable, they provided an unobtrusive and elegant solution that enhanced spectators' enjoyment without dominating the stage area.
