ADI’s new eco-label allows an informed and transparent guide to the comparative carbon ratings of each of ADI’s iCONIC mobile LED screens. Using a simple and universally adopted labelling scheme, ADI’s customers can, at a glance, gauge the environmental impact of their event.

The key figures on the label give details of energy consumption for both the on-board generator used to power the screen and the emissions created for transportation. A straightforward calculation using these figures combined with mileage and duration of hire then allows the resultant carbon footprint to be calculated.

The label is more than merely an energy rating, with measurements considering the local environment of those around the screen as well as the impact on the planet. Consequently, the label also includes information on the noise created by the on-board generator and also the physical footprint of the screen.

Our commitment to minimising our carbon footprint also extends to the vehicles we use. The Mercedes Actros was recently awarded the Guinness World Record for fuel efficiency and is the vehicle that pulls all of ADI’s larger iCONIC screens.

The new vehicle was put through a gruelling seven day round-the-clock test, covering over 12,000 km to claim its crown as the world’s most efficient truck in the 40 ton production class.
