Thanks to ADI’s recent award of a new seven year contract by Jockey Club Racecourses, a record amount of LED featured at the four day festival.
Trusted suppliers like ADI are helping the famous racecourse to continue evolving the spectator experience and develop new promotional platforms for partners and sponsors. This saw an innovative mix of ADI’s award-winning LED screens across the venue, with a number of solutions making their Cheltenham Festival debut.
ADI’s digiBOARD was amongst over 600m² of LED on-site, with around 60 metres of 1.4m high digital signage situated along the “away bend”, in full view of the main stands and Best Mates Enclosure. A new edition to the 2016 event, digiBOARD delivered an eye-catching and dynamic platform for brand advertisers like Ryanair and Pertemps Network. ADI supplied the system, supporting structure and managed the content creation and control from an on-site OB vehicle, allowing the digiBOARD to display static images, digital animations and also racing results.
Another ADI product making its first appearance at Cheltenham was one of our iCONIC 60 Stage screens, positioned at the heart of the Guinness Village – which was the place to be on St Patrick’s Day! This all-in-one stage and screen provided an incredible pop-up for Guinness brand activation, combining promotion with entertainment. Music performances were broadcast live on the giant 60sqm screen to the sea of spectators enjoying outdoor hospitality.
Other LED on-site included four super-sized iCONIC 100s to offer continuous live coverage to the masses, an iCONIC 25 to display the latest Totepool betting odds and an iCONIC 12 by the Club Enclosure.
