ADI secure Formula E Paris and Berlin

ADI set to deliver enhanced solutions to European ePrix events

ADI will act as official screen supplier to both the Formula E Paris ePrix (20th May) and Berlin ePrix (10th-11th June). Offering the largest mobile LED screen fleet in Europe and over 25 years of live event expertise, ADI will supply a custom solution to suit the individual requirements at each circuit.

Paris ePrix

Following the successful delivery of screens for the 2016 Paris ePrix, the 2017 event will see ADI deliver an enhanced solution incorporating 24 large LED screens, plasma screens, audio, and fibre connectivity. This will provide an improved spectator experience for the sell-out crowds that fill the Les Invalides venue, with over 150% up-lift in the amount of LED viewing screens on-site compared to the previous year.

The world’s largest, most versatile mobile LED screen, the iCONIC 120SW, will make its debut at a French event and offer a dynamic feature for Formula E fans. Its 32:9 super-wide screen provides the screen space to display essential information and sponsor messaging alongside live race coverage. The inclusion of social media feeds, leader-boards and race updates will deliver a new kind of second screen experience to engage and entertain spectators in the eVillage.

ADI will deliver:

  • The giant iCONIC 120SW in the eVillage
  • iCONIC 12 screens at busy spectator access points
  • A huge iCONIC 100 screen close to the Tomb of Napoleon

–     An iCONIC 60 screen for the winners’ podium

–     Modular LED facing grandstands

–     Plasma screens in the hospitality areas

–     Fibre connectivity and audio to every screen location, allowing live coverage to be

shown simultaneously on all screens across site

Berlin ePrix

For the first time ADI will supply their iCONIC screens to the Berlin ePrix, which will take place at the former Templehof Airport and run over two days for a double-header encounter.

A selection of ADI solutions will feature, including iCONIC 100s, iCONIC 60s and the new iCONIC H. The newly launched iCONIC H combines the latest LED display and AV technology in a premium, mobile ‘pop-up’ unit. Located in an outdoor entertainment zone, the iCONIC H will offer a unique solution for the event organiser and on-site services, housing the sound engineer for the duration of the event, while the official photographer will use the open-air top level to capture live action along the main straight.
