We’re just a few days out from what is always a major week on the ADI calendar (and certainly the culmination of a few weeks of crazy work in our Marketing Department!)

Revo is always a big show for ADI – we’ve provided the show LED screens there for a number of years now – but this time around we’re planning something a bit special.

This year, we’re thinking outside of the usual 16:9 box and showcasing huge, LED canvases and a programme of stunning bespoke content to show how we can bring impact and interaction (not to mention a bit more entertainment and humour!) to the typical shopping centre schedule.

Meeting the Changing Demands of a Changing Industry

Everyone’s talking about change in shopping centres – specifically how centres need to change to match evolving shopping habits. Whilst different theories and plans abound, it seems that pretty much everyone agrees on the need to shift the balance away from retail and further towards leisure and entertainment.

And as a supplier, we’re looking at how our services can mirror these changes. We’ve been providing LED screens to shopping centres for a number of years now – we recently installed our 30th – but the vast majority of these tend to be purely used to run advertising content. We believe that LED technology can be used far more creatively and in far more inventive ways – whilst still being able to display commercial content, but in a far more impactful way.

You won’t miss our screens this year at Revo. As you enter the Registration area you’ll be met by two huge 8m x 3m screens funnelling you into the show. And straddling the Cinema entrance, will be a monolithic 15m high x 10m wide screen, towering over the show at the rear of the hall.

Content is King

But it’s not really about the size and shape of the screens. They’re just canvases – bloody big ones, admittedly! The point is that these are brought to life by great content. Not content that’s been repurposed from something else, or a tv ad in a letterbox, or a static advert. Content that’s been carefully considered and crafted especially for that canvas, space and experience.

That’s not to say there’s no space for commercial content – but by delivering it in a novel way within a schedule of content that customers actually want to watch, feels like an experience that adds value to all parties…

Digital Out Of Home can be delivered in a more playful and exciting manner

We’ve got a whole load of exciting stuff we can’t wait to show you next week, including a load of incredible human-form creative from a bespoke studio shoot with our good friends at Wash Studios, live mobile games with big screen interactive specialists Piing and a whole load of wonderful eye-candy produced by ADI’s own in-house Production department.

And if you pop on over to our stand you can even get the chance to star in your own movie (poster) as part of our #MovieMugs promotion!

See you there!
