In the first part of our 2022 reflection, we looked back at the first six months of the year.
From the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and the Royal Ascot Gold Cup, to Paris Cycling Races and the Saudi Arabian Dessert with our friends at Extreme E, we travelled the globe delivering solutions to all different industries.
Here we look back at what we got up to in the second half of 2022…
JULY
In July, we maintained the momentum we had built in the first half of 2022. The opening weekend was an incredible one, as our teams deployed over 3500sqm of LED, connectivity and creative content to the Tour De France, British Grand Prix and the Marakesh E Prix. We became Blackpool FC’s official Digital Display Partner and installed a brand-new digital premier system around Bloomfield Road ahead of the new season. In Birmingham, the build for the Commonwealth Games Festival Sites were well and truly underway.

August
August saw us tour the UK with Joe Wicks on his ‘P.E With Joe’ tour. League One outfit Ipswich Town FC chose us to become their Official Digital Stadium Partner and went live with our MTD digiBOARD perimeter product and giant LED screen. And we wrapped up our successful 11-day delivery of the Birmingham 2022 Festival Sites with a round-up of everything we did.

September
We sang and danced our way into the month of September, as we supplied the Godiva Festival with an i100 screen and Redbull’s ‘Dance Your Style’ event with our mobile i-Fly 25. On the other side of the world, the Live crew were in Chile with Extreme E providing unique sports broadcast and presentation products for their ever-growing remote audiences. And on the football scene, Heart of Midlothian FC were the latest club to install our unique Live Venue solution, along with two 88 sqm superwide screens.

October
Across October we showed the scale of what we do in the world of sport when we were announced as the Official Event Presentation Provider for the World Gymnastics Championships Liverpool 2022, as well as delivering our largest ever deployment to the TCS London Marathon. We also shared an insight into ADI’s production gallery on an Everton FC matchday.

November
At the same time we announced that we had won the contract to digitally revamp the iconic Metrocentre, our first screen went live at Withy Grove as part of the Printworks project in Manchester. We looked back at our delivery of the World Gymnastics Championships after it was hailed as the event that transformed the gymnastics scene. And our Studios team worked closely with our friends over at the Newcastle United Foundation to produce a series of powerful video stories for the 2022 Building Foundations Awards.

December
As the year came to an end, we supported Oracle Red Bull Racing with their special Milton Keynes Home Run event which saw their world champion drivers celebrate a history-making season. Over in the French Alps, we played a part in the Criterium de la Premiere Neige with some superwide screens. And the cherry on the cake came when our work at Birmingham 2022 was shortlisted in two categories at the Festival Supplier Awards 2023.
This is just a slice of the amazing work we’ve done throughout the past year. If you would like to know more about the digital solutions we provide, you can get in touch with our friendly Sales team here.
