Dutch Clubs Install digiBOARD from ADI

ADI Announce New digiBOARD Deals with Four Dutch Clubs

Following a successful first leg of the 2023 Venue Technology Roadshow, ADI are proud to announce four new stadium clients and their first customers from The Netherlands. Fortuna Sittard, FC Dordrecht, MVV Maastricht and FC Eindhoven all feature ADI’s award-winning digiBOARD digital perimeter systems for the new season.

The four clubs add to ADI’s growing list of international stadium customers, which also features Germany’s Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund. These are in addition to the 50+ clubs throughout the English Premier League, EFL and SPFL that feature ADI’s digital stadium hardware platforms.

Stadium Tech Tour Reaps Rewards

The four clubs were  amongst 10 Eredivise and Eerste Divise Clubs visited on the first leg of the latest Venue Technology Tour, supported by digital entertainment and media specialists Azerion.  Azerion’s technology is behind fan apps for an increasing number of European football clubs, and their partnership with ADI is set to explore the opportunities between the digital platform in fans’ pockets with the physical digital platforms within stadiums.

Perimeter Platform For Success

All four stadiums now feature ADI’s MTD digiBOARD Digital Perimeter hardware in a full 3-sided camera-facing arc. Content for the digiBOARDS will be managed locally by each club, utilising ADI’s proprietary digiSOFT control software.

The platforms are a significant upgrade on existing systems, helping each club add further value to their advertising platforms whilst improving the experience for fans at each match.

MTD – Next Generation DIGITAL PERIMETER

MTD is ADI’s latest generation of LED perimeter hardware and incorporates a host of innovative features built upon ADI’s experience of nearly 20 years of manufacturing and operating LED screens within stadium environments.

In a global first for digital perimeter, MTD is a fully self-operable platform, incorporating completely self-serviceable hardware with an advanced software package. This allows clubs to operate and service systems themselves, without the need for third party engineers or operators. And support is only a phone call away at any time; because ADI operate systems for multiple clubs, they are able to offer support when clubs most need it on matchdays and not just Monday to Friday.

Central to this are the hot-swappable modules that make up each digiBOARD. The fully sealed units can be swapped in under a minute, enabling any damaged modules to be quickly and easily replaced by club staff and then sent to ADI’s service team for repair. The process negates the need for ADI to provide dedicated technical staff for each match, whilst the sealed units also result in increased reliability.

MTD is available is a broad range of heights to suit the differing requirements and sightlines of different stadiums and is lighter, slimmer, and more efficient than previous generations.

digiSOFT Content Management Platform

The MTD hardware is supported by digiSOFT, ADI’s fully-featured content control software, which has been continually developed over the last 15 years. Designed specifically for digital signage platforms it provides an incredibly powerful and flexible feature set with a simple to use UI.
