Held at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Saracens’ highly-anticipated Showdown 3 fixture against Harlequins saw 55,000 spectators flock to see their heroes in action and a record-breaking 1.5 million people tune in at home.
As Saracens’ official Big Screen supplier, we were commissioned to deliver a fun-filled Fan Zone for the game against their local rivals, along with full management of the sports presentation elements inside the stadia bowl.
Our i25 screen and interactive digital wall were popular touchpoints outside the ground, while pyrotechnics, lighting and flag pageantry ramped up the noise inside the venue ahead of kick-off.
The successful delivery was rounded off with a 36-24 victory for Saracens, which extended their lead at the top of the league table to 11 points. On top of that, a record-breaking 1.5 million watched the game on TV, making it the most watched game in the history of the Gallagher Premiership.
Elevating the fan experience
We have been transforming empty spaces into engaging and immersive environments for the past 20 years, and we used all our expertise to deliver a Fan Zone that elevated the spectator experience for this unique Showdown event.
Thousands of Sarries gathered to soak up the atmosphere pre-game and celebrate the victory afterwards. Fans posed for photographs alongside their favourite players on our interactive LED selfie wall and sang along to live performances from Symphonic Ibiza Orchestra and Massaoke Experience on the stage.
Our mobile i25 screen was used to promote Saracens’ upcoming fixtures, team news and exclusive Showdown content – while also showing the live feed of the post-match interviews.
ADI’s experienced crew provided full management of the site and ensured the smooth delivery of content to the screens throughout the day.
Building the in-bowl atmosphere
Inside the stadium, our dedicated sports presentation team carefully coordinated a unique pre-game show that combined pyrotechnics, lighting, SFX, flag pageantry, a giant Saracens shirt and a guard of honour to generate atmosphere ahead of kick-off.
ADI’s showcaller and pitch-side staff managed a team of volunteers – who executed their roles perfectly – to deliver a show that aptly set the tone for an afternoon of fast-flowing rugby and jubilant celebration.
