A Spectacular Delivery at Royal ascot 2023 marks 15-year partnership
ADI have continued their impressive 15-year streak with Ascot Racecourse, providing 19 screens for the eagerly anticipated Royal Ascot event, which took place between Tuesday 20th June and Saturday 24th June.
Royal Ascot is renowned for being one of Britain’s most prestigious racing events, made even more momentous in 2023 with King Charles III attending for the first time since his coronation in May. To align with the exclusive, high calibre event that is Royal Ascot, ADI supplied their most extensive site-wide delivery yet – one fit for a King.
ADI provided a total of 19 screens, with 18 of those brought in specifically for the event in the form of iCONIC mobile and modular LED screens, which were located at various locations throughout the course. Typically, larger screens are used along the main straight, facing the grandstands to entertain the larger crowds. Behind the grandstands, smaller mobile screens and modular screens were also temporarily installed around the racecourse and hospitality areas – meaning the thousands in attendance were able to socialise and enjoy a leisurely drink while still immersing themselves in the world-class racing action.
In addition, Ascot is home to a huge 60m2 ADI Epoch LED screen, which has recently been upgraded to a higher resolution 5mm MT screen to further improve the experience for the crowds that gather around the world’s most famous Parade Ring.
ADI’s mobile screens offer both a cost-effective and convenient solution to Ascot Racecourse, giving them unprecedented flexibility to scale the number of screens required to the size of the event with Royal Ascot requiring the largest and most complex deployment each year.
