Digital installation specialists ADI have been chosen to deliver multiple indoor and outdoor digital screen installations alongside full audio solutions, for the new state-of-the-art Darley Street Market in Bradford.
As part of the multi-million-pound redevelopment of the City’s shopping area, led by Bradford City Council, ADI will be installing a 28 m2 outdoor LED screen, which will be the focal point for the outdoor market square and is expected to host a range of cultural and entertainment events designed to draw in crowds from the surrounding area.
ADI will install indoor and outdoor cameras facing performance and demonstration areas, alongside a further 5 large entertainment screens inside the venue. This will enable live performances to be broadcast throughout the whole venue, not just shown on the outdoor screen – complimented by ADI’s integrated full audio solution. This increases the audience reach for live performers and the footfall for retailer and traders inside the market. ADI have combined a mix of their own proprietary MT Series LED product and LG’s LCD technology to offer the best-in-class image quality and viewing experience for visitors to Darley Street Market.
In addition, ADI will be installing digital signage throughout the venue, which features a mix of double-sided LCD totems and wall-mounted informational screens, to aid with wayfinding and commercial content.

RE-SHAPING BRADFORD CITY CENTRE
THE NEW MARKET SQUARE – A FLEXIBLE EVENT SPACE
Darley Street Market is the latest public realm regeneration project ADI has been part of this year following Leeds Millennium Square and Lyceum Square in Crewe. Post-pandemic investment in city centre communal spaces is vital after a tough few years for businesses and local independent traders. Increased footfall and consumer engagement are key to increasing economic growth in struggling city areas, and investment in digital screen technology and engaging cultural programming are an important part of achieving this goal, enticing audiences back to city centres with engaging entertainment on a more regular basis.
