ADI kicked off their latest European Venue Technology Roadshow with a visit to Dutch Eredivisie outfit FC Volendam on Monday 27th March, before moving onto a number of other professional football clubs across the Netherlands in the coming weeks.
The initial tour sees stadium solutions specialists ADI travel directly to Eredivisie and Eerste Divisie football clubs to deliver live, interactive demonstrations of their technology to commercial, operational and marketing teams.
The hands-on workshops are being held in air-conditioned state-of-the-art pods, which have been kitted out with a host of ADI’s latest interactive digital platforms. Using the technology, ADI’s team will showcase how the platforms can be used to enhance fan engagement and generate greater commercial return for clubs and partners.
Technology Platforms Brought Direct to Your Venue
With the ability to set up on-site within an hour of arriving, the sessions last approximately 90 minutes, with an informal lunch served at the end. The roadshow is targeted at decision makers in commercial, marketing and matchday delivery areas of Clubs, and delivered as a collaborative session with delegates encouraged to ask as many questions as they like and understand the technology and platforms in more detail.
As part of the roadshow, ADI have teamed up with Azerion – a leading digital entertainment and media platform. Azerion are actively working with a number of Dutch and Belgian clubs, and have long established themselves as a key player in sports advertising and gaming.
Azerion’s Senior Media Consultant Marc Van Der Ploeg, added: “Our partnership with ADI is borne out of our similar positions as commercial and creative disruptors in the industry. We both see the huge value in creating and delivering new models into the marketplace, providing alternatives to the established – and often dated – commercial models. By fusing our solutions and taking them to the doorsteps of football clubs, we can visually demonstrate how Azerion’s digital platforms can combine with ADI’s hardware to provide enhanced targeting of content and advertising, and personalised fan experiences.”
The opening session at FC Volendam was a huge success, with around 8 members of staff attending the 90-minute workshop at Kras Stadion. Johan de Wit, Graphic Design, Audiovisueel & Media at FC Volendam was impressed with the breadth of technology that was on show, saying: “It was a really good 90 minutes, we learned a lot and having it here on the stadium grounds meant we didn’t have to travel. It’s awesome to see the products, touch them, pick them up and learn more about them. I think all the departments of the club gained some good insights – I’d recommend to any club to get the Roadshow to visit!”
