ADI make NYC debut with Formula E

The past weekend saw ADI’s first large-scale event delivery in the Big Apple, during the 2021 ABB Formula E New York City E-Prix (10th & 11th July).

Back in Brooklyn for the first time since 2019, the electric street racing series brought plenty of action to the Red Hook Ferry Terminal during the double-header, which saw Sam Bird take his third victory in NYC, and secure his position at the top of the Driver’s Championship.

With the Manhattan skyline offering a dramatic race backdrop, ADI added to the sense of occasion at this urban location with a variety of sleek modular LED solutions across the track, podium, E-Village and Boss Emotion Club.

From a digital gantry offering partner activation, real-time data and 1st, 2nd and 3rd position drivers, to large-format viewing screens for the grandstands. ADI delivered multiple LED assets trackside, including a 42sqm 4mm podium backdrop that was at the heart of post-race celebrations.

Inside the Boss Emotion Club guests were dazzled by an epic super-wide screen and LED columns, with ADI also designing a range of engaging branded content that set the tone within this premium hospitality experience.
