World-leading event screen hire company adi.tv will be deploying a large number of screens across the UK as part of King Charles’ coronation event on Saturday 6th May.
ADI will be delivering their iCONIC mobile screens nationwide, after it was announced that more than £1million was being made available by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport to bring the historic ceremony to public realms across all four nations of the UK.
Speaking about the coronation, Culture, Media and Sport Secretary Lucy Frazer described it as a ‘magical moment’ in the country’s history and one that would bring people together to celebrate the ‘best of Britain’.
She commented: “These big screens, in major locations in towns and cities in the four nations of the UK, will make it easier for everyone to take part and have a memorable experience to mark this exciting and historic event.”
The three-day celebratory weekend will see local authorities host events including cultural festivals, live music, community workshops, creative games and competitions.
Over the years, ADI have supplied a wide range of live event solutions to all of the Royal Family’s biggest and most celebrated occasions, such as Prince William and Kate Middleton’s Royal Wedding, the late Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond and Platinum Jubilee celebrations, the Platinum Party at the Palace and the Queen’s Baton Relay for the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games.
