The iconic Battersea Power Station hosted the 2nd week of the NFL’s London takeover, providing an opportunity for fans to engage in the full NFL experience and celebrate this popular sport visiting the capital once again.
Aiming to build on the already impressive fan base the NFL has in the UK, and offer dynamic, interactive activations, event organisers Wasserman commissioned ADI to provide a range of innovative event LED, an exclusive digital hospitality unit, creative content solutions and onsite technical production.
Across five activation zones fans could take part in challenges corresponding to positions played by the NFL athletes. Quarterback, Wide-receiver, Punter, and Field Goal Kick challenges allowed fans to ‘give-it-a-go’ themselves at this exciting outdoor event. To promote these activation zones ADI provided custom modular LED signage, which created vibrant digital arches around each individual challenge.
NFL Gaming Launch
ADI’s new iCONIC X – a sleek, digital hospitality unit – was also at the forefront of the event, promoting the NFL 2023 London Games, but also helping launch EA Sport’s new game, Madden NFL 24.
Guests who visited the iCONIC X got the chance to play the new release for themselves across multiple screens on the interior, while those enjoying the event outside could watch the gaming live on the super wide exterior LED display. ADI’s skilled editors created a range of colourful, branded content to support the launch, for all digital screens that feature on iCONIC X.
To further support the release of Madden NFL 24, ADI provided their iCONIC 25 mobile LED screen to show gaming footage, in addition to highlights from the NFL 2023 London Games.
The event aimed to create a fun, interactive, and engaging experience for all people, of all ages, with varied knowledge of the NFL.
