Manchester’s Love Letter to Football Launches at Printworks

Exclusive Football Photography experience celebrates EURO 2024

As the ultimate destination for football fans, Manchester’s leading leisure complex, Printworks, is going all out to celebrate UEFA EURO 2024. In addition to all matches being screened in the bars and restaurants, a special documentary has been conceptualised, shot and edited by ADI. The unique film is about the life’s work of world-renowned football photographer, Stuart Roy Clarke, and can be seen in full glory on Europe’s largest digital ceiling from Friday 14 June until 14 July 2024, 12pm to 10.30pm, on the hour every hour.

The specially shot video is a love letter to football – whether that’s grass roots or world class tournaments. Stuart Roy Clarke has captured unique perspectives of spectators, audiences and players alike, with a wide fan base including Robbie Williams and Elton John who collect his photographs. With his vast body of work exhibited internationally, Clarke’s passion for the sport  – and what his images have meant to generations of football fans – shines through.

Alongside the main film and interview, a further series of bespoke football content have been created by ADI – ensuring guests can catch Insta-worthy moments throughout the tournament. Every single team taking part in EURO 2024 this year will be celebrated with their own profile including a hand drawn montage featuring fun facts, star players and key stats.

Regular fans will also take pride of place in the films as part of this celebration of football, which is 40 minutes long. They are all wearing football shirts sourced from Classic Football Shirts on Dale Street, Manchester.

Football enthusiasts can enjoy live screenings of every EURO 2024 match across six vibrant bars within Printworks. Walkabout will offer free pints and 25% off drinks packages during the tournaments, inviting guests to watch the games on dozens of large screens. New tenant, Tank and Paddle, features one of Manchester’s largest screens and 19 additional screens, ensuring great view for all guests during the games.

Other bars including Bierkeller, Wetherspoons and O’Neill’s will stream the matches live on HD big screens and for pre-game fun like axe throwing, shuffleboard, darts, pool or even karaoke visit Boom Battle Bar, which will create fan zones for each match and will go all out for the England games.
