Full screen and production solution
Building on the success of 2016’s inaugural Paris ePrix, ADI were this year tasked with delivering a full event production service incorporating screens, audio and fibre connectivity, helping create a memorable spectator experience and deliver impact for the event organiser and sponsors.
Enhanced screen experience
A selection of 24 mobile and modular LED screens and over 120 plasmas provided live coverage of the events unfolding on the circuit, while also offering powerful platforms for brand activation and exposure for event sponsors.
ADI’s super-wide and super-sized iCONIC 120SW became a focal point for fans in the Allianz eVillage and made its debut at a French event. Not to be missed thanks to its giant 120sqm LED screen, this super-flexible solution supports multiple live content zones, meaning race coverage could be broadcast alongside sponsor branding, live leader-boards, circuit information and driver profiles to keep fans engaged and entertained throughout.
In addition to a wealth of screen products, ADI’s team managed the circuit’s broadcast fibre network, delivering HD-SDI feeds to every screen on-site including those in the corporate suites and media centres, and supported this with a complete audio solution. This ensured sound could be heard 2km from any point of the track and all other areas of the site.
Formula E representative commented “By choosing ADI we’ve received outstanding solutions and the highest levels of support during the Qatar Airways Paris ePrix. Full project management and delivery across the screen, audio and broadcast fibre elements helped us produce a seamless event, while stand-out LED products like the iCONIC 120SW were incredible additions to this year’s ePrix, bringing huge value to our spectators and sponsors. We look forward to working with the ADI team again at next month’s Berlin ePrix.”
Dave Crowther, ADI’s Rentals Operations Manager commented,“ Given its location and the scope of the project the Paris ePrix required significant planning and logistics, with a full week of event build, testing, delivery and de-rig. Once again we’ve been able to demonstrate our ability to deliver world-class services to world-class events and consolidate our position as a leading supplier to live sport.”
