ADI’s screens played helped entertain tens of thousands as MTV came to Belfast for the MTV Titanic Sounds concert. Set against the stunning backdrop of the new Titanic Belfast attraction on the slipway where the famous ship was built, the event was part of the city’s Titanic Festival to mark the launch a century earlier.
ADI provided a brace of modular screens to go on either side of the stage along with a high resolution iCONIC 15+ screen which was located behind the front of house position to ensure a great view for all of the 16,000 fans who had arrived to see performances from Pixie Lott, Rizzle Kicks, Olly Murs and Sean Paul.
ADI supplied two iCONIC 25 mobile LED screens as MTV dropped in on Derry as part of its “Crashes” tour. The two day event saw twenty thousand fans pack Ebrington Square to be treated to performances from DJ Fresh, Afrojack and Professor Green.
With tickets completely sold out, screens played an important role in the enjoyment of over 10,000 ticket holders each night. ADI’s two iCONIC 25 screens were positioned on either side of their stage and extended to their full height to provide a more flexible and cost effective solution than the traditional stage wings and modular screen setup commonly used at outdoor festivals.
