The Queen led events to mark the 70th Anniversary of the Victory over Japan Day in Central London. A military memorial in Horse Guards Parade, RAF ply-past and remembrance service at St Martins-in-the-Fields Church were just some of the events that took place.
Veterans and former prisoners of war were joined by the Queen and Prime Minister to remember the British and Commonwealth soldiers who fought and died in the course of defeating Japan.
The occasion was screened live on a trio of iCONIC 15s located across Whitehall, including outside Dover House. Large crowds watched events unfold on our mobile screens, which took feeds from host broadcaster the BBC.
